Who do you work with?
I work with children, teens, adults, and families. I have experience across school-based, outpatient, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and medical settings.
Do you specialize in AAC?
Yes. AAC is a major area of specialty in my practice. I support clients, caregivers, and teams with communication strategies, implementation, and practical everyday use.
Do you accept insurance?
Not at this time. This practice is private pay only. A superbill can be provided upon request for families who would like to seek possible out-of-network reimbursement.
What does private pay mean?
Private pay means you pay directly for services rather than using insurance billing through the practice. This allows for more individualized, flexible care and direct communication.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions are primarily provided in-home in the Omaha area. Virtual sessions via Zoom are also available. Some services may also be appropriate in community settings depending on need.
How long are sessions?
Sessions are available in 30-minute or 45-minute lengths depending on the client's age, needs, attention, goals, and service plan. All sessions are available in-person or via telehealth through Zoom.
How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?
A free consultation is a good place to start. We can talk through concerns and determine whether an evaluation or therapy would be appropriate.
Do you work with adults?
Yes. I work with adults with a range of communication and cognitive-communication needs, including neurological and medically related diagnoses such as stroke, Parkinson's, TBI, and dementia.
How do I get started?
Start by scheduling a free consultation. From there, we can decide whether an evaluation or therapy services are the right next step.
